Shemar James is a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys who's really focused on developing his game under defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus. He's excited about working with a coach who specializes in linebackers, knowing he'll get that extra attention and learn more complex schemes like additional blitz packages. James isn't a household name yet, but he's the kind of developmental player that can surprise collectors if he breaks out in Dallas. Since he doesn't have rookie cards, his early releases could become more valuable down the line if he establishes himself as a key piece of the Cowboys defense. Look for his numbered parallels and lower-tier inserts, as those could pay off nicely if he develops into a starter.
James is motivated to learn the game under Cowboys DC Matt Eberflus. "You always want a coach that specializes in your position, because you kind of get a little extra love, a few extra blitzes," he said.
