TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
The Bucs binder’s got a solid mix of Baker Mayfield keeping things interesting, Mike Evans doing Mike Evans things, and plenty of Bucky Irving rookies because apparently I can’t help myself when Mosaic and Optic hit the shelves. Next season means another crop of rookies to chase and even more Chrome variations to pretend I don’t need.
Tampa Bay won the NFC South at 10-7 in 2024 before a Wild Card exit, then slipped to 8-9 and missed the playoffs in 2025 amid injuries to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Baker Mayfield's cards saw volatility as he followed a career-high 41-touchdown 2024 with a regression in 2025, while rookie Emeka Egbuka's early-season production drove first-round pick interest before he cooled off after a Week 6 hamstring injury. Evans' departure to San Francisco in free agency and the loss of longtime linebacker Lavonte David mark a roster transition that shifts collector focus toward Egbuka, Tristan Wirfs, and defensive additions like linebacker Alex Anzalone and 2026 first-rounder Rueben Bain Jr.
Where they stand: The Buccaneers are in training camp preparing for the 2026 season after retooling on defense with free-agent signings and drafting Miami edge rusher Rueben Bain Jr. 15th overall in April. Mayfield returns on the final year of his contract with offensive coordinator Zac Robinson calling plays, while the receiving corps leans on Godwin and second-year pro Egbuka to replace Evans' production. Tampa looks to bounce back from consecutive seasons without a playoff win and reclaim the division after finishing second in 2025.
