It's worked so far. St. Brown recorded 4,851 receiving yards from 2021 to 2024, the ninth-most ever by a player in his first four seasons in the NFL.

Detroit played its Week 11 tilt against Jacksonville in 2024 like a game of Donovan's hand touch in the backyard, and St. Brown was the fastest kid on the block. The sixth-year wideout caught eight passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns in a runaway 52-6 victory.

Since entering the NFL in 2021 through the 2024 season, St. Brown led Dolphins star Tyreek Hill for the most receptions in football with 391. On Last Saints window Michael Thomas had more catches (470) in his initial four pro seasons.

An offense can only sustain a drive if it continues to pick up first downs. For the Lions in 2024, this meant looking in the direction of St. Brown. Working through his routes and getting open for Jared Goff, the superstar wideout recorded an impressive 73 chain-moving receptions.

When Amon-Ra hauled in six passes against the Cowboys in Week 17 of 2025, he set an NFL record. It gave St. Brown 511 catches in his career, moving past New Orleans wide receiver Michael Thomas for the most receptions by a player in his first five seasons. The next week, in his 66th career game, he caught two TDs against the Rams.

Becoming the fourth true freshman to lead the Trojans in receptions, St. Brown reeled in 60 catches as a fresh-faced star in 2018. That quick start was no fluke, and the wideout followed his debut up with two more seasons of ball-grabbing brilliance and nonstop scoring.

As divine as he\'s been for the Lions and as blessed as the team is having his heavenly abilities on its side, St. Brown may be on his way to sainthood in Motown.
