📣 DAD’S TAKEON DAVID MONTGOMERY

Montgomery cards keep rolling out despite splitting touches with Gibbs, and apparently every manufacturer assumes collectors need seventeen different rainbow shades to appreciate a guy who runs between the tackles. The 2020 rookie base remains the cheapest entry point into a player whose market never quite caught fire despite consecutive strong seasons. These 2025 parallels feel like checklist filler rather than priority pickups, though the Select Zebra at least breaks up the monotonous Chrome and Prizm parade.

ABOUT DAVID MONTGOMERY

David Montgomery, born June 7, 1997, is a running back who played college football for Iowa State and was selected by the Chicago Bears in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft. Montgomery played his first four years as Chicago's primary running back before signing with Detroit, where he became part of an elite rushing tandem with Jahmyr Gibbs. He had a career-year in his debut Lions season in 2023, rushing for 1,015 yards on 219 carries for a career-high 13 touchdowns and 117 receiving yards. The duo became the first teammates in NFL history to each have 1,000 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns in a season.

This collection spans Montgomery's career arc with a lone 2020 Donruss base rookie alongside recent 2024 and 2025 Detroit Lions releases. The haul includes a 2024 Select Zebra parallel and nine 2025 cards across Chrome, Prizm, Mosaic, Select, and Donruss Optic products, featuring parallel finishes like Refractor, Prizm Choice Blue Yellow and Green, and Mosaic Green that track his bruising running style in Motor City.
