Look at this guy prancing around like he's doing ballet instead of playing football! Four touchdowns against some 65-year-old defense? Big whoop – my back hurts just watching him tippy-toe through the end zone like he's afraid to get his fancy cleats dirty. In my day, running backs ran THROUGH people, not around them doing pirouettes!

ABOUT ALVIN KAMARA

Oh man, Alvin Kamara is one of those explosive Saints running backs that just lights up the field when he gets going. This guy can do it all, rushing for big yards and catching passes out of the backfield like a wide receiver. He had this monster game early in 2024 where he absolutely torched the defense for four touchdowns and over 100 rushing yards, earning himself NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Collectors love him because he's consistently productive and has that highlight-reel style that makes for great card photography. Look for his numbered parallels and autographed cards, they tend to hold their value really well in the Saints market.

Alvin moves like he's gliding on ice. His balance is silky, his cuts effortless and his contact absorption uncanny. He catches like a receiver and breaks tackles without breaking stride. Kamara is already the Saints' all-time leader in rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, total yards from scrimmage, all-purpose yards and first downs.

Manti Te'o knew Kamara was going to be a special talent when he interacted with him for the first time at minicamp in 2017. A one-on-one drill against the then-rookie displayed the back's elite quickness and split-second decision-making that has served him well as one of the league's top dual-threat playmakers.

Kamara was a third-round pick (67th overall) by the Saints in the 2017 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Tennessee after transferring from Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. Kamara rushed for 1,294 yards and 9 touchdowns in his final season with the Volunteers. He also caught 34 passes for 291 yards and 3 touchdowns. Kamara was named to the All-SEC Second Team in 2016.
